One book not to miss

I recently read a book which is one not to miss, especially given current
events. It's called Let's Roll: Ordinary People, Extraordinary Courage by
Lisa Beamer

This book tells the story of her husband Tod and their family. Tod Beamer
was a passenger on United Flight 93 on 9/11. This book recounts the
chilling details of that day as well as the aftermath for Lisa and their
children. You also learn about both Tod and Lisa, their family, their faith
and their lives as well as values. It is these values that allowed Tod to
risk his life to save others. Believe me when I say, you won't want to
put it down as I had a hard time doing that. I wanted to go on to learn
more about them and what happened. This book was very well written and
paints as positive a picture as one can on something so horrific. As you
will see, faith is a big part of their lives. It is my opinion that this is
what helped Lisa Beamer get through it all; and this is very evident in the
story.

After reading this book, you'll want to see more done about current events.
You won't want to see another family go through what the Beamers and many
other families have gone through. This book gives a behind-the-scenes look
at what it was like for the families of 9/11, particularly the Flight 93
families.
It's available through NLS for those who are eligible for that service. I
encourage you to read and be forever changed.
